our new baby

little miss rachel is about the sweetest baby in the world, snuggling and looking around all the time. but she does have the evil twin, the one that won't sleep during the night occasionally, and who sleeps all day. she is like any newborn, won't wake up enough to eat properly, and wants to eat every 45 min. if it were up to nathan, she would be eating 24 hours a day, but i try to wait at least 2 hours between feedings. 3 if she will let me. her umbilical cord fell off after only a week, i wonder if it was because of the 2 vessel thing. i have never had one come off that early. it is very nice, she has already taken a shower with daddy, and loved it. she can take a bath now, which we are eagerly awaiting. i have the same bathtub i have had with all the other kids, so soon there will be pics of all 4 of them in it. how fun. i took her to the doc on monday, and she has regained all the ounces she lost since birth, and is doing great. we love her to pieces and couldn't be happier. also, i don't know if you can tell from these pics, but these shorts she has on, we lovingly call the frilly butt shorts. we love them, and she is adorable in them!! and the robe was after her first sponge bath, which she thoroughly enjoyed. how cute is this girl??
