ok, since my camera bit the dust, i don't have any pictures, but the other day, rachel......rolled over!! isn't she too young for this stuff?? she has been pushing herself with her feet all across the crib for months now, and on wednesday, she rolled from her stomach to her back!! she was laying by my feet on the ottoman, and the next thing i know, she is looking up at me from her back wondering how she got there!! it's crazy.
so today i was volunteering at the kids' school, so my friend cami had rachel and caleb. when i got to the house, caleb was asleep in the toy room after being reprimanded for spreading styrofoam all over the room (don't you hate that!!), and rachel was asleep on the floor in cami's room. or so i thought. i heard a faint cry coming from the closed bedroom, so i opened it to get rachel. the only problem was that she wasn't there!! i swear it was like i could hear her from another dimension or something. she wasn't on or around the bed, so i went wandering in search of a port a crib, or somewhere else she could be. nowhere. i was starting to panic, so i closed my eyes to listen closely to where the crying was coming from. the ground. so i get on my hands and knees, and miss rachel had rolled over enough that she was fully laying under the middle of the bed, on her back, screaming her full on lungs out. i'm still not sure how she got there. cami says she put her down on the floor next to the bed. she managed to push herself and roll to a pretty crazy spot! she calmed right down when i pulled her out from under there, but has a nice scratch and bruise on her arm from smacking the support beams under the bed! silly girl. i'm just glad she wasn't in an alternate universe......

She's a mover and a shaker!! Poor mom, once they become mobile, life as you know it, it's over. :)
Wow, Marne!! She is a belly sleeper and they always start moving way faster than back sleepers. Taryn is just now starting to get the roll over thing and she only does it in her sleep. She HATES to be on her tummy. Just you wait. She will be moving and shakin in no time.

That is so funny! Poor baby got herself stuck under the bed! Thank goodness her supermom was there to save her!
That is crazy. They grow up way to fast as it is and especially when they start doing things ahead of time. Good luck, here's to a long time of moving until she's in nursery:)

It sounds like she could be another Isabelle. This baby rolled over so early, and crawled and walked really early too. She is now climbing up on the top of both kids bunk beds at 12 months old. We had to remove all the ladders from the beds to keep her off the top.
